Episode 35: Japanese True Crime

Kon'nichiwa cryptic friends! This edition of true crime is brought to you from Japan, perhaps a pairing with sake and sushi? :P We brought two very different stories this week, both cryptic in their own way.

To kick us off, Alanna covers the Yakuza, the organized crime conglomerate that has been around for centuries. From humble beginnings the Japanese "mafia" has turned to disaster relief efforts in recent history. Could they be changing for the better? How many Keanu Reeves movies can be referenced in one segment??

Kelsey kills us softly with a tragic case involving a school crime, a cryptic note with a strange symbol, and a whole lotta carnage. Be warned, this one is a rough one, the Kobe child killer.
